Hey Lit Thinkers!
It’s been a minute. Okay, it’s been a lot of minutes.
Over the past year, we have frequently repeated the mantra to each other, “We contain multitudes.” For the two of us, the multitudes we have in common are those of partner, parent, and teacher. Unfortunately for both of us, those commonalities have made it increasingly difficult to plan and record episodes synchronously. (Who knew junior high football and a high school musical and working three jobs on top of teaching could take so much time???)
In order to still bring you commentary and analysis over our favorite shows, we’re going to revamp the formula for a while. We plan to be back in all of your ears as soon as we are able to figure out a schedule that works. But in the meantime, we will alternate lit-thinking blog posts about some of our favorite pop culture pieces. This will also allow us to share our deeper thoughts about content we don’t want to watch together but still want to talk about.
One quick shameless plug for our side hustles: if you’re still hungry for more Lit Think adjacent material, check out our individual Substacks!
