We are preparing for Season 3 and we want to hear from our listeners! What movies/television shows/documentaries/music do you want us to discuss? Teachers, what do you want us to write blog posts about? What kind of video content would you like to see us produce? How can we best serve you?
Since we focus on specific media, we don't talk exclusively about it, although with the addition of our twice monthly blog posts, it could come up. However, we have briefly discussed it when it becomes a part of our media discussion ☺️
I just read Indiana native Ashley Ford’s book called “Somebody’s Daughter“ and I would love for you to have a segment on strategies to teach memoir...and perhaps how important personal stories are in the classroom and out! Thanks!
Oh, this is something to consider. We did an episode on Jonathan Larson's Tick, Tick...Boom and Alicia is publishing a piece on that next week and the following week I'll have one on Anthropocene Reviewed.
I'm new to your podcast so you may have already covered this (although I couldn't see it in the list of episodes), but I wondered if a discussion on book banning in schools and libraries would be interesting? It seems to be becoming quite a thing now, eg: https://www.educatorstechnology.com/2022/05/10-prominent-books-banned-in-us-schools.html?m=1
